1987 Jaguar XJ

This is an amazing and simply gorgeous condition Jaguar XJ6 saloon. Finished in Tungsten Grey metallic with black leather interior, the combination is stunning taking on a blue-ish hue in sun-light and then a very formal "storm grey" in more subdued light. There is virtually nothing on this example that is not simply immaculate. The best way to describe this Jaguar is to pretend you are in, say, 1990 and you are buying a well-kept certified 1987 Jaguar from the authorised dealer. This is a 2 meticulous owner car with some 55,000 miles, residing in Pennsylvania its whole life but not driven in inclement weather - it is without a spec of rust anywhere. She has a clean supporting Carfax. (The car is a 2 owner, not 5 as shown in Carfax). Everything works as it should and as pictures show, is in immaculate presentation. Recently serviced and all in working order to include new shock and steering bushings and brake service by experienced technicians. Mechanically the car is fantastic with no known issues. Just a quick look under the hood is testament to how well this XJ6 has been maintained. Every single feature and function works as it should; windows, door locks, sun-roof, antenna, stereo, A/C, heater, interior and exterior lights, horn (both high and low).... the complete list. Body and paint is excellent. Very shiny and consistent with hardly a minor chip here in there. There is no rust in the typical areas namely; the bottom of the front and rear windows, lower fenders, rockers and wheel arches. Unlike many Jaguars of the era, this one is free of the ugly side mouldings installed by dealers when new. Mounted are brand new elegant whitewall tyres in their correct 215/70-15 size (if you7 don't like whitewalls, they can easily be flipped). The factory correct Jaguar rims are in excellent shape. The mudflaps are factory issue Jaguar not often seen on US spec cars. The interior is quite a stunning aspect of the car with no noticeable wear. The carpets are excellent and the original broadcloth wool headliner is in good condition without any of the typical "droop" usually seen on this model. The leather great, the dash like a new one and the mahogany wood is in nice condition with only minimal lifting in the lacquer (the worst area being above the radio). Mindful of this, have a close look at the buttons and switch gear; they are all in excellent condition. Simply amazing. The rear parcel shelf shows no sign of fade. She is also a non-smoker car so clean and sweet. Not much more can be said but to invite you to take a close look at the many, many photos of this great Jaguar saloon.
